My Thoughts:

Timeless tale for children and adults by famous Victorian writer Oscar Wilde.

Children come and play in a beautiful graden that is owned by a giant. But he is a selfish giant and wants to have his garden for himslef. So he builds a tall wall around it so children won't be able to come. But after that there's always winter in his garden.

About the Author:

Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was an Irish playwright, poet, and author of numerous short stories, and one novel. Known for his biting wit, and a plentitude of aphorisms, he became one of the most successful playwrights of the late Victorian era in London, and one of the greatest celebrities of his day. Several of his plays continue to be widely performed, especially The Importance of Being Earnest.

As the result of a widely covered series of trials, Wilde suffered a dramatic downfall and was imprisoned for two years hard labour after being convicted of "gross indecency" with other men. After Wilde was released from prison he set sail for Dieppe by the night ferry. He never returned to Ireland or Britain, and died in poverty.

About the Narrator:

Elliot Fitzpatrick trained as an actor at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating in 2012. Since then he's worked in theatre in the West End and throughout the UK; with Shakespeare's Globe, the Rose Theatre Kingston and Pitlochry Festival Theatre among others. He's also worked extensively abroad in countries including China, Germany, UAE and Singapore.

In 2019 he began to forge a new career path as a voice actor and have since been lucky enough to work on some amazing audiobooks, video games, corporates, audio dramas, commercials and more. He now records from his broadcast-quality Session Booth home studio in South London.
